About The Role
Do you enjoy leading and developing a team? Can you drive a culture of high standards and excellent service? Then our Waitrose Team Manager role might be the one for you. Multiple opportunities available on a permanent and secondment basis which include all locations mentioned in the additional locations section.
Night shift
If you are offered a Night's position, in addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £4.50 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.
Duties and Responsibilities
As Partners – members of the Partnership – it is our responsibility to ensure our success for the future. We proactively seek out opportunities to continuously improve the way we work, taking action to ensure the Partnership is efficient and we are all as productive as possible. It’s an ethos each and every Partner works by and you’ll carry into your own role too. As a Team Manager you’ll be responsible for influencing, motivating and guiding a team whilst driving the shop forward. You will contribute to the overall performance of our unique brand through exceptional shop keeping and line management skills. You’ll be a proactive role model for delivering superb customer service, overseeing the shop floor, to ensure our customers get the best experience. At times you’ll manage the entire day to day operation to optimise sales, profitability, customer satisfaction and minimising wastage. Equally you’ll promote a culture of continuous learning and delivering an outstanding Partner experience by unlocking their full potential.
