About the role

The role of a Senior Transport Partner at Coulsdon CFC includes supporting the Customer Delivery Drivers with queries they may have and contributing to the day-to-day running of the Transport Operation. Responsibilities include handling customer queries, liaising with external stakeholders, other Customers, and Drivers. Tasks may involve picking branch orders accurately within productivity targets, loading and unloading vehicles, and general warehouse cleaning. The role also involves administrative work and working throughout the distribution centre, following strict Health and Safety guidelines.

Hours of work - 37.5 hours per week, between 04:00 and 23:00, including weekends.

Contract type - Permanent role

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner deployment - Prioritize work and direct Partners to ensure all tasks are completed.
  • Support operational plans by acting as a task expert and mentoring other Partners.
  • Facilitate effective communication between managers, Partners, Transport teams, and Drivers.
  • Seek opportunities to improve operations and customer service, supporting change implementation.
  • Lead by example, encouraging teamwork aligned with Partnership principles.
  • Provide on-the-job process training to Warehouse Partners and Agency staff.
  • Give structured feedback to management and follow up on operational issues.
  • Cover in the absence of the First Line Manager.

Essential Skills

  • Full valid UK manual driving license with no more than six points, age 18 or over.
  • Experience as a Customer Delivery Driver.
  • Knowledge of the Highway Code.
  • Experience working in a Warehouse environment.

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Additional experience as a Customer Delivery Driver.

Additional Information

Full-time hours between 04:00 and 23:00, including weekends.
