About the role

With plans to invest over £1bn in our store estate over the next 5 years, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Local Marketing team!As Local Marketing Coordinator, you will provide crucial administrative support to the Senior Local Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of local marketing campaigns that support our core and convenience investment programme, and defend against competitor openings and refurbishments.You will be a highly organised and proactive individual, skilled in supporting the logistical elements of campaigns, tracking spend, and raising POs.

  • Hours and location of the role:

    • This is a part time role, specific hours to be discussed at interview

    • Your home location will be our Bracknell Head Office with some travel to sites

    • The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach meaning you\’ll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The team attend the office 1 – 2 days a week to connect and attend key meetings on more of an ad-hoc basis

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Local Marketing Manager and wider Local team in the development and execution of local marketing plans

  • Raise and track Purchase Orders (POs) for marketing activities, ensuring timely processing and adherence to budget

  • Monitor and track local marketing spend, providing regular updates and reports to the Senior Local Marketing Manager

  • Support the logistical organisation of marketing projects, including coordinating with suppliers, venues, and internal teams

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials and toolkits

  • Support the Senior Local Marketing Manager in maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues across Marketing, Retail and Commercial

  • Assist in the preparation of reports on marketing activities and their results

  • Maintain organised records of marketing plans, budgets, and campaign materials

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

Essential skills and/or experience you’ll need:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Marketing experience

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, oral and written skills

  • Strong planning and organisation skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines

  • Successful ability to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders with excellent influencing skills

Desirable skills and/or experience you may have:

  • Strong IT skills ideally with a proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

  • Previous experience in retail

  • Familiarity with marketing processes and terminology

  • Experience managing business budgets
