About the Team / Service / Location
Our Intensive Mental Health Service provides assessment, care and treatment to people experiencing acute mental illness across an acute inpatient facility and a step‑down facility. We have a dynamic forward‑thinking team. Hawken Bay offers work‑life balance and a region with communities that benefit from our services. Location: North Island – Hawkes Bay – Hastings.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the assessment, care and treatment of people experiencing acute mental illness within an inpatient and step‑down setting.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver high‑standard mental health care and to help modernise the service.
- Provide care that aligns with the role and duties of a Registered Nurse in Mental Health.
Qualifications
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Significant experience in mental health with demonstrated high level of clinical expertise in comprehensive assessment in Mental Health, Risk Assessment and Physical Health.
