About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative team as Clinical Nurse Manager Operating Theatres. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a high-performing environment that supports both professional and personal growth. Our dedicated Perioperative Nurses and Allied Health Professionals collaborate closely with highly respected medical specialists to deliver exceptional patient care across all surgical services.

As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide strong nursing leadership, driving clinical excellence and operational efficiency within the Operating Theatres. You will lead nursing and support professional staff within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest standards of patient outcomes. In addition, you will serve as a key communicator, engaging with students and whānau on matters of healthy communities, health equity, and wellness. If you are an experienced nurse leader with a passion for people, teamwork, and the complexities of perioperative care, we would love to hear from you! About you

We are looking for a nurse leader who can inspire and lead a high-performing clinical team. You will bring:

  • Current practicing certificate and qualification as a registered nurse
  • Postgraduate qualification in nursing or health, with ongoing tertiary study plans
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in operating theatre clinical specialty
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and performance management
  • Proven leadership skills with a commitment to staff development
  • Strategic and operational insight to drive service and organisational goals
