Mechanical Design Engineer £35k – £45k Commutable from Oxford, Kidlington, Eynsham, Bampton, Bicester, Abingdon, Faringdon.

25 days + BH, profit share bonus, Health insurance, Life assurance, pay reviews.

Working with a long-established company within the industrial manufacturing sector with a huge client base & brilliant reputation. A fantastic opportunity to take on the design & re-design of product solutions supplied into a variety of industries.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Designing new products and improving existing ones.
  • Building and testing prototypes throughout the development cycle.
  • Documenting test outcomes, including conclusions and recommended next actions.
  • Creating and maintaining bills of materials for product assemblies.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or product engineering.
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor or a similar tool.
