Monday-Friday Double Days (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm) + 1 in 6 Week Call Out Rota (24/7)

Do you want to work for a leading food manufacturer, part of a multi-billion-pound global group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards? Due to growth within the engineering team, they are looking for a maintenance engineer.
Role & responsibilities of a maintenance engineer:
- Carrying out PPM, reactive & predictive maintenance/breakdown analysis
- Dealing with industrial processing & manufacturing equipment
- Working on such machinery/systems as: conveyors, silos, blowers, presses, baggers, production equipment, mixers, elevators, PLC’s, fillers, robotics, 415V ac Electrical & mechanical fault finding, analysis & repair
- Part of the 1 in 6 week call out rota (24/7)
Knowledge, skills & experience needed to be a maintenance engineer:
- Must be a multi-skilled engineer – electrically biased
- Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship – NVQ Level 3 or higher
- Be a problem solver, approachable, with good prioritisation skills
- Able to react to breakdowns effectively, safely and efficiently
- Both electrical & mechanical fault-finding capabilities
- Need to be comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and using breathing equipment
- Ideally have worked in food, FMCG, industrial fast-paced manufacturing
- Flexible character – willing to partake in an on-call rota, work extra hours if needed
