A well-established and part of a larger International Group, this thriving and innovative R&D site is looking to add two practical Electronic Engineers to its expanding Design function. This site acts as a Centre of Excellence for the wider Group, developing rugged systems and application-ready systems for a variety of Global customers.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Very much a practical engineering role, your focus will be on the design and development of complex PCBs, including high-speed digital interfaces.
- You will be involved along the full product lifecycle β from early concept and schematic design through to layout, test, qualification and production support.
- You will design, build, debug and improve real hardware, with EMC in mind.
- Working across analogue, digital and power domains, you will work closely with firmware, mechanical and manufacturing teams, whilst supporting environmental and qualification testing.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- BSc or MSc in Electronic / Electrical Engineering
- At least 4 years Electronic Engineering / PCB Design experience using Altium or OrCAD
- Understanding of high-speed design and ideally EMC
