I’m currently recruiting for a Junior Quality Engineer to work in a company driving closed-loop solutions, energy production and products with a second life! This role is ideal for someone with a few years’ experience in an industrial environment who is looking for a supportive team to develop their problem solving and continuous improvements approaches.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing performance and product consistency, identifying opportunities to optimise processes and reduce waste across production operations.
- Use data analysis and reporting tools to monitor plant performance, investigate trends and support informed operational decision‑making.
- Provide technical support to product and material development, assisting with trials, testing and validation activities within production and laboratory environments.
- Assess incoming material quality and process outputs, documenting findings and communicating recommendations to production and technical teams.
- Drive structured root cause investigations and corrective actions, while maintaining performance metrics and supporting internal quality and compliance audits.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a Quality role within an industrial environment (production, processing, manufacturing, recycling etc.)
- An engineering related qualification would be beneficial
- Ideally experience with problem solving, continuous improvements or 8D methodologies/ root cause analysis
