Our Client
Our client a is seeking a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join their established and highly skilled engineering team. Here, maintenance engineering skill genuinely matters – this is a fast‑paced production, high automation environment, where minimizing downtime is key.
What you’ll be doing
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be supporting an automated FMCG & packaging site that runs at pace. You’ll be trusted to work independently, think laterally, and keep the lines running smoothly.
- PPM & Reactive Maintenance – ensuring equipment reliability and rapid response to breakdowns
- Root Cause Analysis & continuous improvement initiatives
- Working across 3‑phase motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general electrical maintenance
What You’ll Need
- Strong electrical competence (17th or 18th Edition)
- Confident with PLC fault‑finding
- Experience in FMCG, packaging, or another fast‑paced automated environment
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently
- A mindset geared toward improvement, reliability, and ownership
