A respected regional law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy and growing Property Department in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with 5+ years’ experience to manage a varied caseload and deliver a high quality, client focused conveyancing service from instruction through to completion.

The Role

  • Managing a full and varied caseload of residential property matters, including:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    • Remortgages
    • Transfers of equity
    • Leasehold transactions
    • Conducting title checks and reviewing legal documentation
    • Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases and related property documents
    • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties
    • Ensuring compliance with AML, SRA/CQS and lender requirements
    • Carrying out searches, Land Registry applications and raising enquiries
    • Providing clear, practical legal advice throughout the transaction
    • Maintaining accurate case management records
    • Proactively managing risks, resolving issues and progressing matters efficiently
    • Managing client expectations and delivering excellent client service
    • Supporting business development and client retention where appropriate

Candidate Requirements

  • 5+ years’ residential conveyancing experience
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Strong knowledge of UK property law, Land Registry procedures and lender requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience using conveyancing case management systems (Leap)
  • Commitment to high quality legal services and client care
