Our client is a leading processor bringing together a wide range of established brands across the UK and Europe. The company produces a range of building materials using traditional and modern manufacturing methods. They are looking to bring onboard an additional maintenance fitter to their team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Electrical & mechanical maintenance, PPMβs, and repairs
- Working on a variety of production machinery
- Part of a close-knit, skilled team that is growing & developing
- Start-up and shut down processing plan, equipment and facilities
- Carry out safety tests
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Be comfortable with working on mechanical or electrical problems and faults within a heavy manufacturing environment
- Ideally have experience working on motors, conveyers, gears, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Able to read and understand technical drawings
- Able to competently weld and grind
- Team player able to do ad hoc tasks when necessary
