Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor – Bristol – 3+ Years’ Experience
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week)
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000

A well established and expanding law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer or Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to join its busy Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied caseload, contribute to team development, and play a key role in the continued growth of a high-performing property department.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing a broad and complex caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Lease extensions
  • Transfers of Equity
  • New build transactions
  • SDLT requirements, including relevant reliefs and exemptions
  • Unregistered property matters
  • Advising on restrictions, cautions, and their removal
  • Supervising, coaching, and developing junior team members
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Estate Agents, Brokers, and clients
  • Ensuring compliance and maintaining high professional standards

Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified lawyer with:

  • At least 3 years’ experience running a complex residential conveyancing caseload
  • Strong technical knowledge across the full range of residential property matters
  • A proven ability to win new business and nurture introducer relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Confidence working independently and under pressure
  • A proactive, self motivated approach
  • The ability to mentor and inspire junior colleagues
  • Strong IT proficiency, including legal case management systems
