A well‑established regional law firm is looking for a proactive Residential Conveyancer to join its friendly and experienced conveyancing team in Northampton. The department has been delivering high‑quality residential conveyancing services for more than 30 years and is known for its strong client service and supportive working culture.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Handling a full portfolio of conveyancing files
  • Advising clients on all aspects of property transactions
  • Drafting letters, contracts and other legal documents
  • Liaising with solicitors, agents, lenders and other third parties
  • Carrying out searches with the Land Registry, Local Authority and other bodies
  • Managing enquiries and progressing matters efficiently
  • Arranging completion funds and reporting to clients

About You

The firm is looking for someone who can deliver excellent client service and work confidently within a busy team. You should bring:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience or knowledge of mortgages, transfer of equity, buy‑to‑let, new build and leasehold matters
  • A solid understanding of property law, conveyancing processes and AML requirements
  • Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A collaborative, approachable and professional manner
