Days role, Monday to Friday. Flexi £55,000+ (DOE) leading Bonus, Pension, Private Healthcare, Life Assurance, Holidays, other benefits.

This is an extremely rare opportunity to work for a global group’s flagship manufacturing site. The business is looking for a self-driven Engineer with specialist experience in Industrial Process Control and Instrumentation to support the ongoing development of a very successful R&D and manufacturing function. Not only does this position present long-term job security, but ongoing technical development and career progression.

Role Description
  • Create and enhance process control systems from concept through to implementation.
  • Work across SCADA development, PLC programming, and advanced control techniques from PID loops to AI and machine learning.
  • Develop and implement inspection systems and instruments to maintain top-tier product and process quality.
  • Partner with R&D and production teams to identify and deliver process improvements safely and effectively.
  • Provide both on-site and remote technical support, while upgrading and maintaining existing systems.
  • Be open to occasional overseas travel as part of your role.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies and innovations in process control.
Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in a relevant engineering subject.
  • Excellent experience with industrial process control and instrumentation.
  • Proven expertise with electrical and electronic design.
  • Project Management experience, including budgets, deadlines and stakeholder management.
