Engineering Storesperson North Walsham, Norfolk

£35,000 – £38,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Part of the engineering team, managing all aspects of the engineering stores & administration
  • Plan, receive, inspect & locate parts on the CMMS
  • Support the development of the planned maintenance schedule
  • Liaise with planning to make sure engineering parts / assets are available for PPM’s
  • Manage the stores area, regularly audit and implement new procedures
  • Evaluate supplier performance
  • Maintain full inventory control for engineering assets, spares & removal of obsolete parts

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience of working in a similar stores environment
  • Worked with some form of CMMS
  • Highly organised, able to make improvements and self‑audit
  • Experience of working within engineering, understand maintenance schedules
  • High attention to detail, able to make changes to SOP’s
  • Effective communicator and approachable person
  • Qualified in engineering
