We’re looking for a ;b>Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability and performance of a modern manufacturing plant. Working as part of a team of experienced engineers and technicians, you’ll play a key role in reducing downtime, improving equipment performance and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment.
- Maintain and repair ancillary equipment, chillers, compressors, dryers, robotic systems.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability.
- Respond effectively to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Contribute to a proactive engineering culture focused on safety, quality and operational excellence.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications and reliability projects.
What We’re Looking For
- \u003Li>Electrically qualified Maintenance Engineer or Technician. \u003Li>Strong electrical bias with mechanical fault-finding capability. \u003Li>Experience within a manufacturing or production environment. \u003Li>Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. \u003Li>Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure. \u003Li>Positive, proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
Highly Advantageous
- \u003Li>Experience working with automated manufacturing machinery. \u003Li>PLC fault-finding experience. \u003Li>Knowledge of robotics, conveyors or automated production systems.
