Due to a recent promotion, they are looking for an electrically biased shift engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPM’s, reactive maintenance & continuous improvement projects.
- Industrial electrical fault finding & problem solving, along with minor mechanical repairs.
- Support reliability engineering, looking to make things run more efficiently.
- Working on various production & packaging machinery, conveyors, automation & control systems.
- PLC – electrical fault finding.
- Use and regularly update the CMMS systems.
- Dealing with industrial equipment, motors, sensors, servo drives, proximity systems, control panels, inverters, contactors, gearboxes, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics.
Qualifications:
- Must be an experienced electrical biased engineer or industrial electrician.
- Level 3 qualified or higher in electrical engineering – apprenticeship trained.
- PLC – electrical fault finding skills.
- Must have worked in fast-paced manufacturing previously.
- Willingness to learn new things and suggest improvements.
- Strong computer skills – using automated CMMS systems.
- Must be able to read & follow electrical & pneumatic schematics & drawings.
- Team player, but able to work on own initiative when needed.
- Previously have worked on high-speed production, processing & packaging machinery.
