About you: Are you a trained Senior Pharmacy Assistant seeking a locum position? Medacs Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our NHS client in Chelsea who has experience in NHS Technical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- To aseptically dispense sterile cytotoxic products and other sterile injectables
- Assembly of aseptic products in preparation for aseptic dispensing (chemotherapy and intravenous medicines)
Essential Qualifications:
- We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Pharmacy Assistant (Band 3) with:
- Recent relevant BAND 3/4 Technician with experience in NHS Technical services
- Training undertaken within a hospital environment
- Experience of preparing cytotoxic products
- Pharmacy labelling and stock control systems
- Understanding of procurement methods
- Adherence to and implementation of procedures
- Full UK right to work
