New opportunity to join a national and top 100 law firm that is seeking a skilled and motivated construction lawyer with a passion for clean energy to join their vibrant and growing team. Applicants should ideally have a minimum of 4 years of experience in construction, commercial, or project work, particularly within the clean energy sector. However, applications from candidates with strong transactional expertise in the field are welcome.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a dedicated team across multiple UK offices and benefit from the support of a dedicated Professional Support Lawyer focused specifically on the clean energy sector. In this role, you will work on an exciting variety of matters, including:

  • Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) supply agreements with leading global manufacturers.
  • EPC contracts.
  • O&M agreements and long-term service agreements (LTSAs).
  • Component warranties.
  • Clean energy project development, acquisitions, and disposals.

Experience with key clean energy technologies, such as battery storage, solar PV, wind power, hydroelectric, energy-from-waste, biogas, hydrogen, EV charging infrastructure, and district heating systems, would be highly advantageous.
