About the Role
As a locum Consultant in General Anaesthetics, you'll deliver safe and effective anaesthesia across a range of surgical specialties.
Responsibilities:
- Providing general anaesthesia for elective and emergency procedures.
- Conducting pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
- Supporting junior anaesthetists and theatre staff.
- Participating in audits and clinical governance.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- FRCA or equivalent.
- A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process.
- UK Right to Work.
- Strong communication and teamworking skills.
Desirable:
- CCT in Anaesthetics (or within 6 months of achieving it).
