Key Account Manager (Contract Manufacturing) - Global Food Business - Hybrid - Β£70K + Benefits
My client is a well-established family-owned business who have built and earned a reputation for delivering high quality products in the food & beverage industry. With a turnover in excess of Β£1billion and a huge focus on sustainability, they supply their products to many counties across Europe.
They are seeking a Key Account Manager to join their Customer Brands sales team. The successful Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing profitable, long-term partnerships with key customer brands who outsource their manufacturing.

Responsibilities include:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic contract manufacturing customers.
- Build strong relationships with key decision makers across Procurement, Commercial, Marketing and Innovation teams.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, margin and product portfolio within existing accounts.
- Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, annual agreements and contract renewals.
- Deliver customer business plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Collaborate with NPD and Technical teams to deliver innovative solutions and successful product launches.
- Work closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure service excellence.
- Analyse market trends and customer performance to identify new commercial opportunities.
- Prepare forecasts, budgets and account plans.
- Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and trade exhibitions.
The Ideal Key Account Manager Candidate:
- Proven Key Account Management experience within FMCG or Food industry, managing contract manufacturing, customer brands, private label or B2B food accounts.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Experience delivering profitable account growth.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities, especially at c-suite level.
- Have experience in UK and Middle East markets; Arabic language skills is a bonus but not essential.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A collaborative approach with experience working cross-functionally.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.
