Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations and drive performance across the production team. This hands-on role requires strong leadership skills and experience within blown film extrusion, with a focus on productivity, quality, continuous improvement and team.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Team Leaders and Operators across shift.
- Drive performance through KPI monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review and update SOPs, training plans and operator competency standards.
- Work closely with Engineering and OEMs to maximise machine performance and reliability.
- Support raw material planning and ordering, including polymers and blends.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and environmental standards across production.
About You
- Proven experience within blown film extrusion.
- 5+ years' production management experience
- Strong KPI monitoring and performance management experience.
- Continuous Improvement knowledge (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma or similar).
- Experience training, developing and coaching production teams.
