Medacs Healthcare are currently looking for experienced CAMHS Referral Hub Practitioners to work with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

Band 6 – RMN Staff Nurse

Working Hours: Mon to Fri 9.00-17.00, 37.5h

Address: Fulb Old Drift, Fulbourn, Cambridge CB21 5EE

Start: As soon as possible

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, triage, and prioritise CAMHS referrals, ensuring timely and appropriate clinical decision-making.
  • Conduct initial screenings and risk assessments to determine urgency and care pathways.
  • Allocate referrals to appropriate services in line with clinical need and service criteria.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external professionals to gather relevant information and support decision-making.
  • Provide advice and guidance to referrers, families, and professionals regarding access to services.
  • Ensure all referrals and clinical activity are accurately documented in line with governance standards.
  • Manage a fast-paced caseload while maintaining high standards of clinical care and responsiveness.
  • Escalate safeguarding or high-risk concerns in line with policy.
