A well established and reputable law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1-2 years’ post qualification experience to join its expanding Clinical Negligence team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise within a supportive, collaborative environment that values high quality work and strong client care.
The Role
- Conducting initial consultations and triaging new enquiries
- Advising and supporting clients throughout their claims
- Managing pre-action and litigated cases under the CPR
- Drafting Letters of Claim, analysing Letters of Response, preparing witness statements, and drafting court documents
- Reviewing and preparing chronologies of medical records and expert evidence
- Instructing and liaising with medical experts and counsel
- Advising on funding arrangements including CFAs, ATE policies, and client care documentation
- Negotiating with defendants and insurers to secure the best outcomes
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service
Candidate Requirements
- 1-2 years PQE in Clinical Negligence
- Strong analytical, drafting, and case management skills
- Excellent communication and client handling abilities
- Confidence in managing files independently with appropriate supervision
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset
- Competence in legal IT systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to its ongoing development
