Locum Consultant in Gastroenterology – UK-Wide Opportunities

Location: GLASGOW

Rate: £100 – £110

Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)

Start Date: ASAP

The post will comprise:

  • 5 outpatient clinics per week
  • 2 x face to face clinics at GRI (Monday AM and Tuesday PM) (8 patients per clinic – long wait general gastro with a high discharge rate)
  • 3 x telephone clinics
  • 2 x endoscopy sessions per week
  • 3 x admin sessions

What We’re Looking For

  • Essential: MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Relevant NHS experience at Consultant level, or references to support your transition up to Consultant level
  • Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available for agency locum work)
  • A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check – or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills
