A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join its friendly and supportive team in Wimborne.
The Role
- Manage your own caseload of privately funded family law matters, working closely with clients to provide clear, pragmatic advice during what are often sensitive and complex situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private family matters
- Advising on divorce and separation
- Handling financial settlements, including more complex cases
- Dealing with private children matters and arrangements
- Drafting and advising on prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
- Supporting clients through negotiations and, where necessary, court proceedings
- Providing a high level of client care and maintaining strong relationships
- Contributing to the continued growth of the department
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx)
- Ideally 2+ years’ PQE in family law (flexible depending on experience)
- Strong experience in privately funded family work
- Confident managing your own caseload independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic, professional, and client-focused approach
- Resolution membership (desirable but not essential)
