This is a great opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Production Engineer to join a well-established company, who are now going through a period of expansion. You will enjoy a varied role and be heavily involved with the NPD side of production, as well as communicating with suppliers, customers and other parties to ensure production issues are identified and resolved.
The Role
- Assist in the production of operating instructions
- Assist in the co-ordination and management of new products internally
- Identify and present ideas for improving production
- Conduct feasibility studies for continuous improvement
- Liaise and communicate with other departments and suppliers where needed
What we are looking for
- HND/HNC in engineering field – as a minimum
- Experience in implementation of manufacturing improvements
- Experience with CI projects
- Proven use of DFMEA & PFMEA – wider use of Quality management systems
- Experience working with sheet metal fabrications
