Due to engineering departmental growth, they are looking for an experienced electrical biased maintenance engineer, to work on their night shift.
Role & Responsibilities of the Night Shift Engineer:
- Maintain all reactive and schedule maintenance on production machinery
- Working alongside and supported by shift engineers for breakdowns on production lines
- Electrical & mechanical fault finding and repairs
- Dealing with high-speed production, processing & packaging machinery
- PLC's, automation, control systems, VSD's, AC Drives
- Electrical safety, LOTO, isolation
- Installation & commissioning of new machinery
Knowledge, Skills & Experience needed to be the Night Shift Engineer:
- Looking for a multi-skilled engineer – electrically biased
- Must have electrical qualifications
- At least 5 years experience outside of apprenticeship
- Ideally have completed a formal apprenticeship scheme
- NVQ or City Guilds qualified to level 3 or higher
- Must have worked in some form of manufacturing environment
- Computer literate – able to use SAP systems
- Experience of working with hydraulics, pneumatics, VSD's, power transmission drive systems
- PLC – electrical fault finding skills
- Steam systems experience would be beneficial
