Locum Consultant in Paediatrics – UK-Wide Opportunities
Location: HULL

Consultant Paediatrician post with primary responsibility within Safeguarding and Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU). The post-holder will deliver clinical safeguarding child protection medical assessments in the dedicated children safeguarding facility, the Anlaby Suite. If there is no referral to the Safeguarding team, the expectation would be to work flexibly in the paediatric assessment unit. The post-holder will deliver clinical safeguarding child protection medical assessments in accordance with the Intercollegiate Document, Safeguarding Children and Young People: Roles and Competencies for Health Care Staff, 2019, published by The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. Following all medical examinations the post-holder will be responsible for producing written reports/statements for child protection and civil/criminal court proceedings.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
