A top 50 UK law firm is seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join its leading Dispute Resolution team. This is a standout opportunity for a mid to senior-level solicitor with a strong background in commercial litigation and a keen interest in developing a practice in insurance policyholder disputes.

The Role

  • Handling complex, high-value disputes for national and international clients
  • Advising on a broad range of commercial litigation including professional negligence, contractual disputes, warranty claims, and shareholder issues
  • Leading on insurance coverage matters primarily for policyholders across sectors such as:
    • Professional Indemnity
    • Directors’ & Officers’ Liability
    • Cyber
    • Property & Casualty
    • Warranty & Indemnity
    • Construction Insurance
  • Working closely with a Legal 500-ranked partner to grow the insurance disputes offering
  • Collaborating across departments including financial services, real estate, and corporate

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified solicitor (SRA registered) with at least 5 years’ PQE
  • Proven experience in high-quality commercial litigation, ideally in the High Court or arbitration forums
  • A genuine interest in insurance coverage disputes and policyholder representation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
  • Ability to manage a varied and intellectually challenging caseload
