A top 50 UK law firm is seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join its leading Dispute Resolution team. This is a standout opportunity for a mid to senior-level solicitor with a strong background in commercial litigation and a keen interest in developing a practice in insurance policyholder disputes.
The Role
- Handling complex, high-value disputes for national and international clients
- Advising on a broad range of commercial litigation including professional negligence, contractual disputes, warranty claims, and shareholder issues
- Leading on insurance coverage matters primarily for policyholders across sectors such as:
- Professional Indemnity
- Directors’ & Officers’ Liability
- Cyber
- Property & Casualty
- Warranty & Indemnity
- Construction Insurance
- Working closely with a Legal 500-ranked partner to grow the insurance disputes offering
- Collaborating across departments including financial services, real estate, and corporate
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified solicitor (SRA registered) with at least 5 years’ PQE
- Proven experience in high-quality commercial litigation, ideally in the High Court or arbitration forums
- A genuine interest in insurance coverage disputes and policyholder representation
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
- Ability to manage a varied and intellectually challenging caseload
