A well established and expanding law firm is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor, CILEX or Fee Earner to join its busy and growing Property Team in Cirencester. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of commercial property matters while collaborating closely with experienced specialists in a supportive environment.
The Role
- Manage your own caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion, including:
- Handling a full caseload of commercial property transactions
- Running files from start to finish, including onboarding, case management, billing and file closure
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other parties to ensure smooth progression
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters, leases and renewals, the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, sales and acquisitions, and easements
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Candidate Requirements
- 2-5 yearsβ experience in commercial property work
- Proven ability to manage a commercial property caseload independently
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
- Confidence drafting and negotiating commercial leases and renewals
- Experience advising landlords and tenants on heads of terms
- Experience with sales and acquisitions of commercial property and easements
- Experience in agricultural property, options and overage (beneficial but not essential)
