A respected commercial law firm with a strong Private Client offering is seeking a Solicitor to join its expanding Carmarthen team. The firm is known for delivering high quality advice to high net worth individuals, business owners and trustees, while maintaining a warm, supportive working environment.

The Role

You’ll handle a broad range of private client matters with early responsibility and excellent supervision. Your caseload will include:

  • Wills, codicils and letters of wishes
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work
  • Probate, estate administration and inheritance tax reporting
  • Trust establishment, administration and tax considerations
  • Lifetime planning, succession strategies, IHT and CGT advice
  • Domicile, residence and cross border succession issues

You’ll also support business development, assist with seminars and training, and contribute to client facing content.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE in Private Client. NQ candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
  • Strong grounding in wills, probate and LPAs; trusts/tax experience desirable
  • Excellent drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong client care skills with a calm, empathetic approach
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work proactively
  • Team oriented and committed to high professional standards
  • STEP or Lifetime Lawyer accreditation (or willingness to pursue)
