A well established and award winning regional law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to lead its Residential Conveyancing team in South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a growing practice, with responsibility for team development, business growth and high quality client service.
The Role
- Build and manage a caseload of residential conveyancing files
- Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new build, remortgages, transfer of equity, shared ownership and shared equity matters
- Develop relationships with local estate agents, brokers and introducers
- Lead marketing and business development initiatives to promote the Caerphilly office
- Mentor, supervise and train junior team members
- Work closely with senior leadership to implement growth and performance strategies
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ PQE as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
- Strong technical knowledge across the full range of residential conveyancing work
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and deliver consistent billings
- Previous experience managing or supervising a conveyancing team
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with local agents and introducers
- A proactive, commercially minded approach
Working Pattern
- 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home
- Full time, permanent position
