A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior HSE Manager for a company in the Bridgwater area. With no day ever being the same, the Senior HSE Manager role offers an opportunity to perform as part of the senior leadership team and offers career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own HSE strategy, governance, and KPI reporting to senior leadership/board
- Coach leaders, embed leader-led routines, and promote a positive safety culture
- Maintain RAMS, permits, PPE, and contractor safety; lead incident investigations
- Oversee machinery safety, capital projects, and compliance with PUWER
- Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Senior HSE experience in manufacturing/industrial environments (multi-site preferred)
- Skilled in risk management, incident investigations, and leader engagement
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and IOSH Chartered preferred
- Proven ability to implement or mature HSE management systems (ISO 45001/14001)
