Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and improve manufacturing processes to maximise efficiency and quality
- Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with design, quality and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
- Support the introduction of new products into production
- Analyse data and prepare reports to support decision‑making
- Provide video analysis and best‑practice guidance for operators on the shop floor
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field is a bonus
- Proven experience as a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineer in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques
- Ability to provide training and develop shop‑floor operators
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
