This is a great opportunity for a Product Manager to join a well established business that has recently won new contracts and is looking to expand its product into new markets. The role is well suited to an experienced Product Manager who has worked in a fast paced environment, collaborating with sales, engineering and marketing. Roles and Responsibilities
- Negotiate
- Deliver internal and external product and process training, maintain training materials, and provide technical and commercial support to the sales organisation.
- Drive innovation by identifying product gaps and managing the innovation funnel.
- Lead product development and launches, working with marketing on positioning, messaging, materials, and supporting exhibitions, tenders and bids.
- Monitor markets, competitors, customer standards, profitability, pricing and margin opportunities; maintain a strong competitor and market insight database.
- Manage field trials and feedback, communicate product value and benefits, produce initial case studies and technical content, and support technical accuracy of the price list.
Requirements
- Understanding of an engineering based product within a manufacturing setting.
- Commercial aptitude and ideally experience within a product manager function.
- 5 to 10+ years experience – need someone who can hit the ground running.
- Solid experience and knowledge in Project Management.
- Marketing and communication methodologies and tools.
