A great opportunity to join a globally operating and successful logistics / automation company as a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working in an automated distribution centre in Chesterfield. Ideally seeking electrically biased, Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the engineering team. If you have strong electrical skills, and enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, this role could be a great fit for you.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands‑on engineering to support the logistics system running smoothly
- Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment
- Keep maintenance records up to date using CMMS system
- Follow safety and repair best practices at all times
- Contribute to continuous improvement and cost‑saving initiatives
- Ok to work at heights when needed (via harnesses and full training etc)
Qualifications
- Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications
- Good level of electrical & mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Working knowledge of PLC control systems, desirably Siemens S7
- Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential

- Expected shift pattern - Mon to Fri - 3 shifts (Earliest, Lates, Nights) (to be confirmed at interview)
