The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing and optimising WAGO UK & Ireland’s digital marketing activities to drive brand visibility, customer engagement and demand generation. Working within the Integrated Campaigns team, the role supports the delivery of digital campaigns across web, search, email and marketing automation platforms. The role also supports the growth of WAGO’s digital commerce ecosystem, including the eShop platform and commerce connectors with distribution partners. A key responsibility of the role is analysing digital performance data and customer journeys to generate insights that improve campaign effectiveness, digital engagement and marketing ROI.
Digital Campaign Execution
- Execute digital marketing activities supporting integrated marketing campaigns across website, search, email and digital advertising channels.
- Work closely with the Integrated Campaigns Manager to deploy campaign landing pages, digital assets and marketing automation workflows.
- Support the digital delivery of demand generation campaigns aligned to key growth sectors and customer segments.
- Budget management.
Website & Digital Experience
- Manage and optimise the WAGO UK & Ireland website to ensure strong user experience, search visibility and lead generation performance.
- Monitor website performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Support the development of customer-focused digital journeys across the website and campaign landing pages.
Marketing Automation & Email Marketing
- Own and optimise email marketing campaigns including segmentation, targeting, campaign deployment and performance analysis.
- Implement marketing automation workflows to support lead nurturing and campaign engagement.
- Work with CRM systems to ensure customer data quality and effective targeting of campaigns.
eCommerce & Digital Commerce Enablement
- Support the growth of WAGO’s digital commerce ecosystem including the eShop platform, EDI ordering and commerce connectors.
- Collaborate with distributors and internal teams to support digital purchasing journeys for customers.
- Analyse eCommerce performance data and identify opportunities to increase digital adoption and sales.
- Grow sales through our B2B eShop platform via digital marketing.
Digital Analytics & Performance Optimisation
- Monitor and analyse performance across website, campaigns, email and digital channels.
- Build dashboards and reports tracking key KPIs including website traffic, engagement, lead generation and digital commerce activity.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimise digital campaigns and improve marketing ROI.
Agency & Technology Management
- Work with digital agencies and technology partners to implement campaigns and digital initiatives.
- Support the deployment and optimisation of marketing technology tools including marketing automation and analytics platforms.
Key Deliverables & Results
- Successful delivery of digital components within integrated marketing campaigns.
- Animation and nurture programmes engaging existing customers via email and marketing automation.
