The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical FP&A Senior Analyst to join our Strategic Finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional to move into a strategic, in‑house role and directly influence a company's growth trajectory.

The Team

You will be joining a high‑performing Strategic Finance team alongside the VP of Strategic Finance, existing FP&A Manager, Senior Business Analyst, and Treasury Manager. We are a group focused on proactivity, collaboration, and a drive for exceptional outcomes. In this role, you will work closely with the Core Finance team and will have excellent exposure to the CFO, Co‑founders, and the Executive Committee.

What you’ll do

  • Financial Modeling & Decision Support: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision‑making across the organization. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Support quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing detailed variance analysis. Deliver high‑quality, actionable insights to the executive team that clearly explain performance drivers.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with department leaders to ensure the alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives, providing insights that will help guide their decisions.
  • Investor and Board Reporting: Support in the preparation and delivery of compelling executive‑level presentations to investors, the Board of Directors, and lenders, effectively communicating our financial performance and outlook.
  • Performance Analysis: Produce and enhance internal reports for the leadership team, offering clear and actionable commentary on our financial performance against key metrics.
  • AI‑Driven Efficiency: Embed AI into the FP&A workflow, automating recurring reporting tasks and using LLMs to accelerate first‑draft analysis, documenting and sharing best practices across the team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, investors, and advisors to provide necessary management information and analysis.

What you’ll bring

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience: This would be your first or second role in industry. Previous experience in FP&A is desirable but not essential.

Your Approach to Work

  • You are highly analytical and take full ownership for the quality and integrity of your work.
  • You are a proactive self‑starter who doesn't just answer the questions asked but anticipates the next one.
  • You are genuinely AI‑literate: you use LLMs as a core part of your daily workflow.
  • You thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and are comfortable juggling competing priorities and tight deadlines without sacrificing precision.
  • You are intellectually curious and have a strong desire for continuous learning and development.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and can work effectively across the organisation and influence both peers and senior stakeholders.

Technical Skills

Advanced Excel is a given; familiarity with BI tools such as Looker or Power BI, and comfort working with structured data (SQL or similar) will be an advantage.

Hybrid Collaboration

Our team is headquartered in London and typically gathers in the office 4 days weekly. We believe in the power of in‑person interaction, while empowering you with the autonomy to manage your schedule effectively.

Progression

This role is designed to grow. We expect the right person to take on increased ownership over time, with a clear path toward a manager‑level remit as the team and company scales.

Commitment to Our Mission

You are passionate about contributing to a company with a significant social mission.

Salary £60,000 – £70,000 + benefits + equity.
