were looking for a senior delivery lead to join us on our journey 🌱 ready to dive in and stir things up?
what we need|
someone to help us land the change that shapes wagamama’s next chapter
we’re building a small, senior change delivery team at the heart of wagamama’s central transformation function. we’re turning a bold value creation plan into measurable results; reshaping how we operate, grow + deliver for our guests and teams.
as our senior delivery lead, you’ll own the successful execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives, from mobilisation to benefits realisation. this isn’t just managing plans; it’s landing change that genuinely shifts how the business works + creates value
if you are someone who:
- thrives on landing big, complex projects end-to-end
- balances structure + pace with pragmatism
- brings clarity + confidence to senior stakeholders
- and wants to see the impact of your work in restaurants, not just in slides
… then we’d love to hear from you
what you'll do |
- lead enterprise-wide programmes under our value creation plan (VCP) — mobilise, plan, and deliver with pace + precision.
- set clear scope, outcomes + measures with business sponsors; keep delivery tightly focused on value, not just activity.
- run governance + steering that gives execs clarity and teams momentum; report crisply to exec + board.
- manage multi-stream portfolios, dependencies + risks across operations, supply chain, digital, people + commercial.
- work with operations to drive change enablement + adoption so outcomes stick in restaurants + support functions.
- work independently, unblocking early and maintaining pace, no surprises, ever.
what you'll need |
- significant experience delivering large, cross-functional transformation in multi-site, consumer-facing businesses (hospitality, retail, leisure, FMCG).
- proven track record taking enterprise initiatives from kick-off to measurable benefits.
- mastery of delivery frameworks (waterfall / hybrid / agile) + governance, applied pragmatically.
- outstanding stakeholder management with c-suite and senior functional leaders; confident, concise updates.
- strong commercial acumen; you connect delivery activity to business value.
- calm under pressure, ownership mindset, and the judgement to escalate with solutions, not just problems.
- nice to have: experience in PE-backed value creation, MSP/AgilePM/APMG/ADKAR.
what’s in it for you |
- competitive salary + 20% bonus potential
- flexible hybrid working (with option to work + eat from one of our restaurants!)
- modern offices + culture to be proud of
- £200 monthly wagamama food allowance — enjoy all your favourite dishes on us!
- private healthcare
- 3% pension contribution
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays — plenty of time to relax and recharge
- + further discounts across retail, hospitality & leisure — perks that make life sweeter
- Supporting you every step of the way! family-friendly pay: 26 weeks full pay + 13 weeks half pay for expectant or adopting parents
nothing brings people together like great food. no matter where you’re from or who you are, you’ve got a seat at our table | because food is the ultimate connector, and here everyone belongs
