what we need |
a superstar passionate about all things food + projects, to lead on the successful implementation of all menu launches changes across the uk + ireland
what you’ll do |
menu launches/changes
- ensuring all activity related to menu is communicated and documented through the correct forums and getting the business on board with using a stage/gate process
- lead the weekly menu team meeting, including: agenda, flight plan run through, minutes and actions
- work closely and maintain good relationships with all areas of the business keeping all parties involved up to speed and on track with their respective tasks
- actively gaining an understanding of all relevant tasks to see how pieces fit together
- ensuring project flight plan is always kept up to date with live information for all activity including, but not limited to:
- national menu launches
- lto launches
- price changes
- menu design changes
- restaurant process changes
- managing stakeholders to ensure any risks are flagged to the relevant parties
- adapting the project timeline when new requirements come through
- providing RAG rated key project updates on a monthly basis to feed into exec meetings
food team support
- leading on the administrative tasks within the food team to ensure npd products are flowing through/on track to being signed off, costings received etc.
- leading the timeline agenda within the weekly food team meetings to ensure we, as a team, are on track
project work
- assisting head of food on any ad hoc projects
- assisting the menu + recipe manager on recipe management system when required
what you’ll need |
- a track record of successfully implementing projects, products or systems in a hospitality, retail or similar environment
- an organised mind – must be a natural orchestrator with high attention to detail and feel at ease with timelines, project plans and the general administration of what can be a challengingly complex process.
- a confident and proactive leader that embraces change and motivates the rest of the team
- excellent risk management to ensure flags are raised early and escalated when required
- an agile problem solver who can find solutions in a fast paced environment
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and project management tools if required
