Overview
FIXED TERM 1 MONTH (approx) POSITION TO ASSIST DURING BUSY PERIOD
Available hours: 6.30am to 2pm, Monday to Friday

Part of the APT Co Group, Bow Wow is Australia’s naturally delicious dog treat company.
This is a great opportunity to join the Packing team at our small dog treat manufacturing facility in Edinburgh.
Responsibilities
- Fast paced sorting, labelling and packing finished products according to product specifications and standards.
- Inspect finished products and reporting issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain good housekeeping, assist in cleaning processing equipment and work areas.
- Assist production staff with filling tasks, where required.
The candidate
- Have experience in a fast-paced food production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a meat processing role.
- Willing to work on rotation in the packing and production areas, as required.
- Proficient machine operation skills or the willingness to learn.
- Practical knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitisation and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Initiative, attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to handle meat products.
- Ability to work in a cold and hot environment (when ovens are in operation).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 15KG.
- Has steel capped footwear
