About Sellar Distribution Sellar is transforming the way the UK drinks trade does business.
Our technology connects drinks producers with trade buyers, making it easier for breweries, wineries, distilleries and other drinks brands to reach pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels and retailers across the UK.
Sellar Distribution provides the physical logistics network behind that marketplace. Our depots collect stock from producers, consolidate orders and deliver directly to customers — including into pubs, bars, cellars and other customer premises.
We currently operate three UK distribution hubs, covering the North West, Scotland and South West, with ambitious plans to expand our network. Our depots work together to move products between regions several times a week, giving customers access to a much wider range of drinks while allowing producers to reach more customers without having to manage their own distribution network.
We are now looking for a Dray Driver & Warehouse Operative to join our team and play an important role in delivering this service to customers across the Depot delivery area.
About the Role This is a hands-on role combining multi-drop driving, customer delivery and warehouse operations .
You will be responsible for collecting, handling, consolidating and delivering a wide range of drinks products, including beer, wine and spirits. You will drive a 3.5-tonne vehicle on multi-drop routes across the Depot delivery area, delivering directly to pubs, bars, restaurants and other trade customers.
Some deliveries will involve delivering products into cellars and other customer premises, so this is a physically active role requiring good manual-handling practices and a customer-first attitude.
When you are not out on the road, you will support the Depot with receiving, cross-docking, picking, checking and preparing stock for onward distribution.
You will be an important representative of Sellar, so professionalism, reliability and great customer service are essential.
