We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join the Wadys team. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a company established in 1959 with a fantastic reputation, working in many sectors including Education, Leisure, Healthcare and Commercial. The successful candidate would report directly to the Contracts Director and will oversee the delivery of electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and health & safety regulations. This is a key leadership role requiring excellent organisational and communication skills.
What you’ll do:
- Manage multiple electrical contracts simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships and clear communication.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
- Lead and support project teams, providing guidance and resolving technical issues.
- Control costs and manage variations effectively.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager or similar role within the electrical contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and installation practices.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. 18th Edition Certificate BS7671).
- Full UK driving licence.
