The Red Lion is a historic Georgian pub with rooms, located in the beautiful National Trust village of Lacock. Combining traditional character with exceptional hospitality, quality food and drink, and guest accommodation, it's a fantastic place to work as part of a friendly team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
We're looking for a talented, passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. As a key member of the brigade, you'll take ownership of your section, support the development of junior team members and play an important role in delivering high-quality food that keeps our customers coming back time and time again.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and taking responsibility for your section of the kitchen during service.
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to specification and the highest standards.
- Ensuring food quality, consistency and presentation are maintained at all times.
- Supporting and mentoring Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
- Maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
- Assisting with stock control, stock rotation and minimising waste.
- Working closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver outstanding service.
- Contributing ideas and supporting the continued success of the kitchen operation.
