This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to build on their existing experience and develop their skills within management accounting. Working as part of a small finance team, you will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities.

Duties:
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Processing and reconciling financial transactions accurately
  • Preparing and reviewing accruals and prepayments
  • Supporting month-end and year-end accounting activities
  • Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
  • Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Producing financial reports and analysis using Excel
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc accounting duties
About the Successful Applicant:

The successful candidate will have at least two years' experience within a finance function and an understanding of accruals and prepayments. You will be studying towards an AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualification and be keen to progress into management accounting. Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs, are essential, alongside excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.
