The role of Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in relation to supporting growth and process improvement for this fast growing Business based in West Oxfordshire. The role will report directly to the Finance Director and support the wider Finance Team.
About the role:
- Own full month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, stock, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Produce monthly management accounts, MI packs, and variance analysis for Directors and senior stakeholders.
- Prepare weekly and rolling cashflow forecasts, supporting short- and medium-term decision-making.
- Own weekly supplier payment runs, ensuring accuracy, authorisation, and timely settlement.
- Maintain daily bank reconciliations and strong cash control.
- Prepare VAT returns for submissions and support year-end and audit processes.
- Play a key role in systems and process improvements, strengthening controls and reporting efficiency.
- Work closely with operational teams, providing practical financial support and insight.
Experience required:
- Qualified or Part qualified candidate.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast growth and changing environment.
- Comprehensive experience within Management Accounting.
