About the Successful Applicant

You will have previous HR Business Partnering experience, ideally gained within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is required, alongside strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills. You will be comfortable using people analytics to inform decisions, managing ambiguity and supporting organisational change within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary and performance-led environment.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Business Partner to work closely with leaders across technical areas of the organisation. You will translate operational priorities into practical people plans, helping leaders build capability, strengthen engagement and develop high-performing teams. Working collaboratively across the wider People function, you will provide coaching, insight and constructive challenge while supporting workforce planning, talent, organisational development and employee relations.

Duties will include:

  • Building trusted relationships with managers and leaders, providing practical and strategic People advice.
  • Coaching managers to strengthen leadership capability and encourage a consistently high-performing culture.
  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives and helping leaders turn feedback into meaningful actions.
  • Identifying current and future skills requirements and developing workforce plans to address capability gaps.
  • Partnering with Finance and Early Careers teams to support effective and commercially focused workforce planning.
  • Supporting talent reviews, succession planning and capability development across technical teams.
  • Working with learning and talent specialists to identify development requirements and improve employee retention.
  • Using people analytics and commercial information to identify workforce risks, opportunities for cost optimisation and organisational design requirements.
  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition on talent mapping and resourcing strategies to build strong pipelines for critical and specialist roles.
  • Supporting the effective delivery of performance reviews, objective setting and annual salary review processes.
  • Using internal and external data to provide leaders with evidence-based recommendations and improve workforce decision-making.
  • Working alongside Employee Relations specialists to support managers with a broad range of employee relations matters.
  • Collaborating with specialist People teams to improve the employee experience and deliver effective, future-focused People solutions.
