About the Job
This is a hands‑on Management Accountant role, supporting the Finance Director and wider business with financial analysis, reporting, and planning. You will play a key part in preparing accurate monthly accounts and maintaining strong financial controls across multiple branches.
Duties will include:
- Producing monthly EBITDA figures and ensuring balance sheet support
- Posting journals including accruals and pre‑payments
- Delivering executive‑level commentary and insights on financial results
- Managing forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes
- Reconciling general ledger accounts, bank transactions, and VAT
- Overseeing daily and monthly stock reconciliations and investigating variances
- Supporting the month‑end close and audit preparation
- Handling import declarations and preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Collaborating closely with branch managers and the finance team
About the Successful Applicant
You will be an experienced Management Accountant with at least three years’ relevant experience, ideally within a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment. Strong Excel skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a solid grasp of financial reporting are essential. You must be UK‑based and able to reliably commute to TW2.
